Terms of Use

1. About the service

Thank You Coach (“the app”) is a tool for coaches, players and guardians in sports teams, provided by Truls Lunde (“we”). By creating an account you accept these terms. How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 13 to create an account yourself. Younger players only get access through an invite involving a guardian or coach.
  • Use an email address you own and keep your password secret. Your account is personal.
  • You are responsible for what is done with your account.

3. Content you add

  • You are responsible for content you add — rosters, notes, messages and so on.
  • If you record information about other people, especially children, you need a basis for doing so, for example as a coach acting for the club. Record only what is needed to run the team.
  • Content you publish to the shared drill library can be seen, copied and used in the app by other users.
  • You keep ownership of your content. You give us the right to store and display it as needed to provide the service.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • try to access teams, accounts or data you have not been invited to;
  • post unlawful, offensive or harassing content;
  • disrupt, overload or circumvent the security of the service, or extract data automatically.

5. Provided “as is”

The app is free and under development (beta). Features may change or be removed, and we can't guarantee the service will always be available or error-free. Keep information that matters to you outside the app as well.

6. Liability

To the extent Norwegian law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by data loss, downtime or content other users add. This does not limit any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

7. Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account). We may close or restrict an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you when we can.

8. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. For significant changes we'll let you know in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the app after that, the new terms apply.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes should first be resolved amicably, and otherwise by the Norwegian courts.
